Objectives of the Event

The main objectives of MindWalk were to:

  • strengthen youth workers' competences in mental wellbeing promotion;

  • explore mindfulness, outdoor learning, and sensory-based educational methods;

  • provide practical tools that could be applied in everyday youth work;

  • encourage the exchange of good practices between partner organisations;

  • promote inclusion and wellbeing through innovative non-formal education.

About The Project

MindWalk was an Erasmus+ Training Course hosted in Agrigento, Sicily, bringing together youth workers from eight European countries to explore practical approaches to mental wellbeing through non-formal education.

Throughout the project, participants experienced mindfulness practices, sensory learning, outdoor education, and experiential activities designed to strengthen their professional competences. The training encouraged participants to develop practical methods that could be transferred to their local communities, promoting healthier and more inclusive youth work.
