YE FINANCIAL LITERACY: The First Step Towards Financial Capability

Methodology
The project will be based on non-formal education, peer learning, and active participation.
Participants will take part in team-building activities, energizers, intercultural evenings, group work, and thematic workshops prepared by the national teams. They will also have the opportunity to organize and lead activities for the other participants, gaining practical experience in communication, teamwork, and facilitation.
The methodology will encourage learning by doing, exchange of experiences, multicultural cooperation, and practical reflection on real-life financial situations.
Objectives of the Event
The project aims to improve young people’s financial awareness and support them in becoming more confident and responsible in managing their personal finances.
Its main objectives are to:
equip young people with essential financial skills;
explore budgeting, saving, and responsible investing;
encourage participants to take control of their financial future;
introduce participants to Erasmus+ opportunities;
strengthen intercultural learning and cooperation among participants.
About The Project
Financial Literacy: The First Step Towards Financial Capability is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange designed to help young people develop essential financial skills for everyday life.
The project focuses on topics such as budgeting, saving, responsible investing, and financial decision-making, encouraging participants to take greater control of their financial future.
Through an international and multicultural environment, participants will learn from each other, exchange experiences, and build new connections with young people from different countries.
